Yesterday the weather cooperated long enough for me to do my photo session with this family. The rain has just been relentless here and I’ve had to cancel my last 3 sessions. I was very excited to get this one completed.
I used to work with Mrs. D and hadn’t seen her and her kids in about 4 years. The kids have grown so much and are still as cute as can be. I love the choice in shirt colors, very springy! Hope this leaves you wanting to see more…

This weekend was very, very busy, but being busy is always a good thing when you have a business! One of the things I did this weekend was take a few pictures for the Southwest Fire Department over on Wire Road before you get to the soccer complex. They wanted some group shots of the entire crew. I managed to do some cropping to get some of these more artsy pics. Super fun shoot. Thanks guys!
Double Engagement Session

I did another session while I was in Texas and it was SO much fun! Both my brother and sister are engaged. The funny thing is that they’re engaged to a sister and brother. Pretty cool. We went to downtown Fort Worth and got some nice shots. Since I was on a very tight schedule trying to get everything done while in Texas, visiting with family, going to the hospital to see my Grandmother, dealing with other matters, and trying to squeeze in some fun photography, we had to deal with some bright sunlight.

Baby on the Way Session

On Valentine’s Day, I had a wonderful session at the home of J and B, who are expecting a baby in a few weeks. The nursery is precious and made a nice setting for maternity pictures. I really enjoyed getting to know them better and talking about Ryan who will be making her debut very soon! Here’s a quick sneak peek of a few of my absolute favorites.

Sunday I had a quick mini-session with my neighbors. As you can see from the pictures, they are Alabama fans and after a big win on Saturday they were happy to show off their Alabama gear. They finally got the chance to do a much wanted picture in front of the “Welcome to Auburn” sign down the street from our neighborhood.
